The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the secure, stable and functional provision of our websites.
3.3 Recipients and hosting
Our websites are operated on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in data centres in Germany. The data mentioned under 3.1 is not transferred to third countries as part of the hosting.
Hetzner processes personal data exclusively on our behalf. For this purpose, we have concluded a data processing agreement with Hetzner in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Further information is available in Hetzner's privacy policy at https://www.hetzner.com/legal/privacy-policy
In addition, recipients of the data may be technical service providers engaged for the operation and maintenance of our websites. Where these service providers process personal data on our behalf, this is done on the basis of corresponding data processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
3.4 Retention period
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes stated.
Longer storage may take place where this is necessary to investigate security incidents or due to legal obligations.
3.5 Provision of the data
The provision of the data mentioned is, as a matter of principle, neither required by law nor by contract.
However, without the processing of certain technical information, in particular the IP address, it is not possible to provide our websites.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Our websites use cookies and, where applicable, similar technologies.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and may contain information that is read again on a later visit.
We distinguish between technically necessary cookies and cookies used for analysis, statistics or marketing purposes.
4.1 Technically necessary cookies
Technically necessary cookies serve to ensure the basic functions of our websites.
They may be required in particular for:
- The technical provision of our websites
- Ensuring security
- Storing your privacy settings
- Managing required session information
- The functionality of certain website components
Where the storage of information on your device or access to it is strictly necessary, this is done in accordance with Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) without separate consent.
The associated processing of personal data is based in particular on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4.2 Analysis and tracking cookies
On https://productionai.de we use Google Analytics to statistically evaluate usage and improve our offerings (section 7). The Google Analytics cookies are set only once you allow the "Statistics" category in the cookie settings.
On our landing page at https://insights.productionai.de we use cookies and similar technologies from HubSpot to statistically evaluate usage and improve our offerings (section 6.5).
The following information in particular may be processed:
- Web pages accessed
- Duration and frequency of website visits
- Origin of visitors
- Interactions with website content
- Browser and device information
- Pseudonymous user identifiers
Where these technologies require consent, they are used exclusively after your prior consent.
The legal bases are Section 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
4.3 Cookie settings and withdrawal
On https://productionai.de and on our landing page at https://insights.productionai.de we each provide a cookie consent tool.
You can use it to give or refuse your consent to the use of non-essential cookies.
On productionai.de we store your choice in the technically necessary cookie pai-consent for twelve months. It contains your decision per category, the time of the decision and a random identifier with no link to your person.
The technically necessary cookies on productionai.de include, besides pai-consent, the cookie that protects the contact form on the Discovery call page against automated access (section 6.2). In addition, there is the "Statistics" category with Google Analytics (section 7).
You can withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, the "Cookie settings" link is available in the footer of every page.
You can also delete or block cookies via your browser settings. Please note that this may restrict individual functions of our websites.
The cookie settings apply to the website or domain on which they are made, unless cross-domain consent management has been set up.
5. Contact and contact forms
5.1 Nature and purpose of the processing
If you contact us via a contact form, by email or via other contact options we provide, we process the personal data you transmit.
This may include in particular:
- First name and surname
- Business email address
- Company
- Telephone number, if provided
- Content of your message
- Further information provided voluntarily
The processing is carried out to handle your enquiry, for individual communication and, where applicable, to prepare a business relationship.
5.2 Legal basis
The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract or taking steps prior to entering into a contract.
For general contact enquiries, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling incoming enquiries in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5.3 Recipients
Recipients may be technical service providers that support us in providing contact forms, email systems or CRM solutions.
For the processing of contact enquiries via the contact form on productionai.de and via our HubSpot landing page, the provisions in section 6 apply in addition.
5.4 Retention period
Data from general contact enquiries is, as a matter of principle, deleted no later than six months after the enquiry has been finally dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations or other lawful reasons for longer storage exist.
If a contractual relationship arises from the enquiry, the corresponding statutory retention periods apply.
5.5 Provision of the data
The provision of your personal data is, as a matter of principle, voluntary.
However, to handle your enquiry we need sufficient contact information and details of your request.
6. Use of HubSpot for landing pages, contact forms and CRM
For the contact form on the Discovery call page at https://productionai.de/en/discovery-call as well as for our landing page at https://insights.productionai.de and the forms and interactive functions provided via it, we use the HubSpot platform.
HubSpot is a software platform for customer relationship management (CRM), marketing, web analytics and the provision of websites.
The provider is:
HubSpot, Inc.
2 Canal Park
Cambridge, MA 02141
USA
In the European region, services may also be provided by HubSpot Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland.
We use HubSpot in particular for the following purposes:
- Hosting and technical provision of our landing page
- Provision and processing of contact forms
- Management of incoming enquiries
- Storage and organisation of contact data in the CRM
- Processing of the details entered in the potential calculator on our landing page
- Statistical analysis of the use of our landing page
- Evaluation of interactions with our landing page
- Assignment of web pages and forms to marketing campaigns
- Sending automated confirmations of contact enquiries
6.1 Hosting of the landing page
Our landing page is provided via HubSpot's technical infrastructure.
When the landing page is accessed, technically required information is processed.
This may include in particular:
- IP address
- Date and time of access
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system
- Pages accessed
- Referrer URL
- Technical connection information
The processing serves the secure, stable and reliable provision of our landing page.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and efficient provision of our online offering.
6.2 HubSpot contact forms and CRM
On our landing page and on the Discovery call page of productionai.de, we provide contact forms that are processed via HubSpot.
When you complete and submit a form, the data you enter is transmitted to HubSpot and stored in our CRM system.
The following information in particular may be processed:
- First name and surname
- Business email address
- Company
- Role in the company, if provided
- Telephone number, if provided
- Content of the enquiry
- Time of form submission
- Further details provided voluntarily
The processing is carried out to handle your enquiry, to contact you and, where applicable, to prepare a business relationship.
Within our CRM system, the details may be assigned to an existing contact or used to create a new contact record.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry serves pre-contractual or contractual purposes.
For general enquiries, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Any further use of your contact data for advertising communication takes place only where a corresponding legal basis exists.
Contact form on productionai.de
The contact form on the Discovery call page is loaded from HubSpot's servers when you open that page. It is the service you are requesting on this page; no separate consent is required for this. You can reach us by email or telephone instead at any time.
When the form is loaded, HubSpot receives technically required information such as your IP address, browser and device information and the address of the page accessed. In doing so, HubSpot's servers set a cookie for their own domains to protect against automated access (section 6.6). On productionai.de itself, the form does not set any cookies. The form does not use Google reCAPTCHA; no data is transmitted to Google.
We do not use HubSpot's tracking code on productionai.de. The tracking and analysis functions described in section 6.5 relate exclusively to our landing page.
The legal basis for loading the form and for the cookie set in the process is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, because the form is the service you request on this page, together with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in a working contact channel that is protected against abuse. The legal bases stated above apply to the processing of the details you submit with the form.
6.3 Potential calculator
On our landing page we provide an interactive potential calculator.
The potential calculator allows interested parties to obtain an estimate of possible economic and operational optimisation potential based on their individual details.
Nature of the data processed
When the potential calculator is used, the following information in particular may be processed:
- Details of the company
- Information on the operational starting situation
- Operational key figures entered
- Economic calculation parameters
- Details of possible optimisation potential
- Results calculated on the basis of the input
- Contact information, where provided as part of an enquiry
The specific data results from the respective input fields of the potential calculator.
Processing and storage in the CRM
If you submit an enquiry via the potential calculator, the values entered and the results calculated from them are stored together with your contact details in our HubSpot CRM.
For this purpose, we use a separate field group within our CRM system.
Storing this data enables us to handle your enquiry taking into account the operational conditions you have stated and to make an individual assessment of possible optimisation potential.
The details may be used in further communication with you, in particular to:
- Handle your enquiry
- Prepare a consultation
- Produce individual potential assessments
- Examine possible economic optimisation measures
- Prepare a possible business relationship
Personal reference
The company data entered in the potential calculator is not personal data in every case.
However, where these details can be attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person, in particular by linking them with contact data in the CRM system, we treat them as personal data within the meaning of the GDPR.
Legal basis
The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where it is necessary in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Where the processing does not directly serve pre-contractual purposes, it is based on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Our legitimate interest lies in providing an interactive information offering and in the efficient and individual handling of business enquiries.
Automated calculation
The results of the potential calculator are determined automatically on the basis of the information entered and the stored calculation logic.
The calculation serves to produce a non-binding estimate of possible economic and operational potential.
A decision based solely on automated processing which produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR is not intended.
Retention period
The data transmitted via the potential calculator is stored only for as long as is necessary to handle your enquiry, to take steps prior to entering into a contract or for further lawful processing.
For general enquiries, the deletion periods described in section 5 apply.
Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
6.4 Automated confirmation of contact enquiries
After submitting a contact enquiry via our landing page or our potential calculator, you may receive an automated confirmation by email.
It is sent via HubSpot.
The confirmation serves to inform you that your enquiry has been received and to provide information on how it will be processed further.
The email may contain in particular:
- A confirmation that the enquiry has been received
- Information on the expected processing time
- Contact details of a responsible contact person
- A link to arrange an appointment for a call
For sending the confirmation, your email address in particular and, where applicable, your name are processed.
The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry serves pre-contractual purposes.
For general enquiries, it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The automated confirmation serves exclusively to handle your enquiry and does not constitute a subscription to a newsletter.
Any further advertising communication takes place only where a corresponding legal basis exists.
6.5 HubSpot tracking and web analytics
On our landing page we use HubSpot's tracking and analysis functions.
These enable us to statistically evaluate the use of our landing page and to improve our online offering.
The following information in particular may be processed:
- Pages accessed
- Time and duration of website visits
- Frequency of visits
- Origin of website visitors
- Referrer URLs
- Browser and device information
- IP address
- Interactions with website content
- Cookie IDs and similar online identifiers
HubSpot may use this information to recognise returning visits and evaluate usage activity.
Where the corresponding functions are activated and the consent required for this has been given, usage information may also be linked with existing contact records in the HubSpot CRM.
The analysis serves in particular to:
- Better understand the use of our landing page
- Optimise content and user guidance
- Assess the effectiveness of our information offerings
- Statistically evaluate the use of forms and interactive functions
- Improve the technical quality and content of our offerings
Legal bases:
- Section 25(1) TDDDG for the storage of or access to information on your device
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for the associated processing of personal data
Where consent is required, the processing takes place exclusively after your prior consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings of our landing page.
6.6 HubSpot cookies
To provide certain functions and to analyse website usage, HubSpot may use cookies and similar technologies.
These may include in particular the following cookies:
| Cookie | Purpose |
|---|---|
__hstc | Recognition of visitors and analysis of website visits |
hubspotutk | Recognition and attribution of visitors |
__hssc | Recording of session information |
__hssrc | Detection of new browser sessions |
__hs_opt_out | Storage of a decision to refuse certain tracking technologies |
__hs_cookie_cat_pref | Storage of cookie category settings |
The cookies actually used, their retention period and their respective function depend on the technical configuration of our landing page.
The contact form on productionai.de does not set any cookies on our domain. HubSpot's servers set the following technically necessary cookie for their own domains:
| Cookie | Domain | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | hsforms.com, hsforms.net | 30 minutes | Protection of the form against automated access (Cloudflare, on behalf of HubSpot) |
Non-essential analysis and tracking cookies are used only after prior consent.
Technically necessary cookies, in particular for storing your privacy settings, may be used without separate consent where the statutory requirements for this are met.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of our landing page or of productionai.de.
6.7 Campaign attribution and statistical performance measurement
Within HubSpot, we use functions for organising and statistically evaluating our marketing activities.
For this purpose, web pages, landing pages and contact forms may be assigned to specific marketing campaigns.
The processing serves in particular to evaluate the use of our information offerings and the effectiveness of our marketing measures.
Information on website visits, form submissions and the origin of enquiries in particular may be processed in the course of this.
Where personal tracking data is processed for this purpose and consent is required, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG.
The purely organisational assignment of web pages and forms to marketing campaigns takes place without additional collection of personal data, unless further tracking functions are used.
6.8 Data transfer to HubSpot and third countries
When HubSpot is used, personal data may be transferred to HubSpot and to the sub-processors it engages.
In the course of this, personal data may be processed outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, in particular in the USA.
Such a transfer takes place in compliance with the statutory requirements under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.
In particular, adequacy decisions of the European Commission or appropriate safeguards such as the EU standard contractual clauses may be relied upon for this purpose.
Further information on data processing by HubSpot is available at: https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy
6.9 Retention period
Personal data is stored within HubSpot only for as long as is necessary for the respective processing purposes or as statutory retention obligations exist.
For contact enquiries and data transmitted from the potential calculator, the deletion periods described in this privacy policy apply.
The retention period of tracking data and cookies depends on the technologies actually used and the corresponding settings.
7. Web analytics with Google Analytics
7.1 Nature and purpose of the processing
On https://productionai.de we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). We use it to understand how our website is used: which pages are accessed, where visitors come from and how they move around the website. On this basis we improve the content, structure and offerings of the website.
Google Analytics is loaded only once you allow the "Statistics" category in the cookie settings. Until then, no script from Google is embedded and no data is transmitted to Google. The website can be used without restriction without this consent.
With your consent, the following information in particular is processed:
- Pages accessed, time and duration of the visit
- Origin of the visit (referrer URL, search engine, campaign parameters)
- Interactions with the website, such as scroll depth, clicks on external links, file downloads and questions opened in the FAQ
- Browser, operating system, device type, screen resolution and language setting
- Approximate location (country, region, city), derived from the IP address
- A random, pseudonymous identifier (client ID) that makes returning visits from the same browser recognisable
According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. The IP address is used only to determine the approximate location and, for access from the European Union, is truncated on servers in the EU before the data is processed further.
We have switched off Google's advertising features, the so-called Google signals, and the personalisation of advertising. Google Analytics is not linked with Google Ads or other advertising services. The data is not merged with your name or other details that you provide to us, for example via the contact form.
7.2 Cookies
With your consent, Google Analytics sets the following cookies on productionai.de:
| Cookie | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
_ga | 2 years | Distinguishes visitors by means of a random identifier |
_ga_* | 2 years | Records the state of the current session, such as its start and page views |
If you withdraw your consent, our cookie consent tool deletes these cookies on productionai.de and no further data is transmitted to Google Analytics.
7.3 Legal basis and withdrawal
The legal bases are Section 25(1) TDDDG for storing and reading the cookies on your device and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for the processing of personal data, in each case on the basis of your consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. The lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.
In addition, Google offers a browser add-on that prevents data collection by Google Analytics on all websites: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
7.4 Recipients, processing on our behalf and third-country transfer
Google processes the data on our behalf. For this purpose, we have accepted the Google Analytics data processing terms with Google (processing on behalf of a controller under Art. 28 GDPR).
In doing so, personal data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which an adequacy decision of the European Commission exists. In addition, the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) apply.
7.5 Retention period
The user-level and event-level data stored by Google Analytics is deleted automatically after 14 months. Aggregated reports that no longer relate to individual visitors remain unaffected. The duration of the cookies on your device is stated in section 7.2.
Further information is available in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and in Google's information on data use at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
8. Links to social networks
We do not embed social media plugins that transmit data to a social network as soon as a page is loaded.
On productionai.de we link in the footer to our company profile on LinkedIn and, on the About page, to the LinkedIn profiles of our founder and our Advisory Board. These are simple links. Data is transmitted to LinkedIn only when you click such a link and thereby open the LinkedIn page.
The provider is responsible for the processing on LinkedIn. Further information is available in LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
9. SSL or TLS encryption
Our websites use SSL or TLS encryption to protect the transmission of personal data.
You can usually recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser begins with https://.
The encryption is intended to protect the data you transmit to us against unauthorised access by third parties during transmission.
10. Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR
Where we process personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
This also applies to profiling based on this legal basis.
After a valid objection, we will no longer process the personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
You can address your objection to:
production.AI GmbH
Campus-Boulevard 30
52074 Aachen
Germany
Email: info@productionai.de
11. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if legal requirements, technical conditions or our data processing operations change.
This may be necessary in particular when new functions are introduced, additional service providers are integrated or our online offerings change.
The current version is available at the following address: https://productionai.de/en/privacy-policy
12. Questions about data protection
If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data or about exercising your data protection rights, you can contact us at any time.
